The mission of GEN Ukraine is to unite and support the development of ecovillages and other sustainable communities in Ukraine in order to spread ecological values and the philosophy of a conscious life in society.

The vision of GEN Ukraine. Ukrainian communities are the driving force of sustainability, adaptability and resilience for the development of civil society.

The values of GEN Ukraine:
1. Horizontal connections, trust and cooperation (collegial decisions).
2. Unity in diversity, respect and support (for each other).
3. Awareness, creativity and desire for self-development.
4. Sustainability, resilience, adaptability.
5. Freedom, joy and love.

The goals of GEN Ukraine:
1. Form and support the organizational and management structure of the Network, the organization of communication between departments (double linking).
2. Establish relationships between ecovillage communities and support effective interaction between them.
3. Contribute to the development of the infrastructure of ecovillages in order to create the locations for holding GEN Ukraine events.
4. Create the environment for the economic, social, cultural and ecological development of ecovillage communities.
5. Contribute to the organization of educational programs to increase the level of awareness and competences of GEN Ukraine representatives (communities of ecovillages and GEN Ukraine staff).
6. Help ecovillage communities to organize and develop business activities that would meet the principles of sustainable development and provide for the material needs of communities.
7. Help ecovillage communities to be active drivers of environmental projects in their region.
8. Protect the interests of sustainable communities at the local, regional and national levels.

NGO "Global Ecovillage Network Ukraine" works in the legal field of Ukraine.
The organization has a pro-Ukrainian position.
